SUPCON Showcases at the 2024 Saudi Arabia Rail Exhibition, Supporting the Infrastructure Industry's Transition to Smart Manufacturing

Recently, the 2024 Saudi Arabia Rail Exhibition, hosted by Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) and sponsored by China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC), was successfully held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC). This exhibition is the largest and most influential rail industry equipment and transit event in the Middle East. As a long-term partner of CRCC, SUPCON was invited to participate. The conference serves as a vital platform for global railway manufacturers to showcase new technologies, enhance corporate image, seek partnerships, and expand markets. The exhibition spans 25,000 square meters, attracting over 13,000 attendees and featuring more than 400 exhibitors and brands.

In recent years, collaboration between China and Saudi Arabia in the rail transit sector has strengthened. China has become one of Saudi Arabia's largest trading partners, with numerous Chinese companies actively participating in Saudi Arabia's rail infrastructure projects, offering advanced technologies and equipment to support urban transit development.

At the exhibition, SUPCON focused on safety management in construction, integrating cutting-edge concepts such as AI, the metaverse, and IoT. They prominently featured their Smart Site 3D Visualization Safety Control Platform.

The showcased safety products aim to elevate the intelligence of the infrastructure industry, guided by the principles of "Intelligence, Protection, Safety, and Security." They deeply integrate construction management information systems with a comprehensive safety platform to establish a standardized site supervision platform. This enables real-time monitoring, proactive alerts, and coordinated command of personnel, vehicles, machinery, safety, and progress. Additionally, VR-based construction safety training is combined with on-site safety management to cover safety knowledge dissemination, accident experience, cause analysis, and Q&A assessments, ensuring a comprehensive and multidimensional approach to safely advancing engineering projects.

The design principles of the Smart Site platform are based on SUPCON's "1+2+N" smart factory architecture. This includes one factory operating system, two types of automation: Process Automation (PA) and Business Automation (BA), and numerous industrial applications (N), ensuring system flexibility and scalability. With support from IoT and intelligent sensing technologies, Smart Site comprehensively addresses various technical management needs, including personnel management, construction machinery, environmental management, video surveillance, and safety management. It provides standardized guidance for the construction phase of digital site scenarios.
