SUPCON Reports Strong Growth in Revenue and Profits for the Full-year 2021

March 1st, at the project site of Shanxi Xinfa Chemical Co. Ltd. (hereafter Shanxi Xinfa), SUPCON ECS-700 DCS had a successful commissioning of the full automation transformation of Asahi Kasei ion-exchange membrane electrolyzer.

Asahi Kasei Corp. is the world's leading supplier of bipolar electrolyzers. As the core equipment of caustic soda production, AsahiKASEI electrolyzer has been continuously improving its technology from standard bipolar electrolyzer to the latest Zero-gap Natural Circulation (NCZ) electrolyzer, which Shanxi Xinfa applied. Despite the process upgrading, however, the automation upgrading was yet to achieve significant breakthrough.

By leveraging its know-how in Automation Technology (AT), Equipment Technology (ET) and Operation Technology (OT), SUPCON works together with Shanxi Xinfa and Asahi Kasei, and through unremitting efforts of process study, investigation and implementation, cracked this problem eventually.

The successful commissioning of this project has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent automation transformation of Asahi Kasei's electrolyzer products, as well as an important milestone to comprehensively improve product quality, operation capacity and information development.

The dedication and professional spirit of SUPCON engineering team has won high praise from Shanxi Xinfa and Asahi Kasei. After commissioning, Exchange Membrane Business Department and Exchange Membrane Technology Department of Asahi Kasei sent a letter of thanks to SUPCON.
