SUPCON APC Solution for CNOOC CCR Unit Passes Acceptance Test

Jan 15, Jiangsu Sailboat Petrochemical Co., Ltd. officially passed acceptance test of the SUPCON APC project for their acrylonitrile unit after 4 months of commissioning since last September.

The project has integrated the advanced control of the synthesizer, refining unit, and acetonitrile unit, and improved the stability of main technical parameters by about 30%. According to the user’s comparative analysis and assessment, the acrylonitrile unit’s single-pass yield was raised to 80.56%, meanwhile its general energy consumption was cut by 1.89%, that is 1.73kg oil per ton output.

SUPCON APC solution has been successfully applied in acrylonitrile unit of many other petrochemical companies. Earlier, the solution has achieved successful operation in SINOPEC Anqing Petrochemical Company 260,000t/a unit and SINOPEC Qilu Petrochemical Company 130,000t/a unit, etc.
