SUPCON Has Announced the Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Saudi Aramco

SUPCON Commissioned Zhejiang Energy Lanxi Power Plant Project

Nov, 30 the commissioning ceremony of Lao-China Dongyan Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (LCPC) 3Mt/a refinery project Phase I was launched in Vientiane and broadcast live in Kunming. Mr. Sonexay Siphandone, Deputy Prime Minister of Laos, Mr. Wang Yubo, Acting Governor of Yunnan Province, Mr. Jiang Zaidong, Chinese Ambassador to Laos attended the ceremony.

As a firm step along the journey of building “a community with a shared future for Laos-China” (a program under Belt & Road Initiative), this project aims to provide Laos with a stable domestic supply of refined oil, thus to support their industry development. The comprehensive processing capacity of the first phase will reach 1 Mt/a. SUPCON supplied DCS, SIS and transmitters in the project, to facilitate stable automation control of the plant.

"After put into use, I believe this petroleum refinery project will effectively fill the gap in the petrochemical industry in Laos and change the current situation that all its refined oil depends on imports" said Khemmani Pholsena, Lao Minister of Industry and Commerce.
