The Ittehad Chemicals Limited Delegation Visited SUPCON HQ

SUPCON and Hobré Join Forces for Innovative Process Manufacturing in Thailand

SUPCON Completes the Full Acquisition of Hobré

Recently, the CEO and management of Ittehad Chemicals Limited (ICL) visited SUPCON HQ. The guests from the ICL delegation are Mr. Mustafa Khatri (CEO of ICL), Mr. Abdulhai Khatri (the Director of Operations), and Mr. Sajjad Ahmad (the Head of Engineering).

Dr. Zhong Weitao (Assistant President of SUPCON) and Jacky Shi (Head of Overseas Engineering) warmly welcomed the delegation. Both parties discussed the latest technologies and achievements of SUPCON in areas such as Industry 4.0 and engaged in communication and exchange regarding several potential project opportunities under ICL.

ICL is the pioneer and one of the largest manufacturers of industrial chemicals in Pakistan. Started production in 1964 and after successive capacity expansions and technology upgrades, the ICL plant already has the capacity to produce 425 t/a of caustic soda. The range of ICL products also includes liquid chlorine, hydrochloric acid, sodium sulphate, sodium hypochlorite, calcium chloride and carbon dioxide which are supplied to Pakistan and different countries in the GCC region.

The ICL management visited SUPCON Technology Experience Center and Intelligent Manufacturing Innovation Laboratory. The guests were interested and raised many questions about digital twins, energy management, Industry 4.0 and instruments.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the upcoming cooperation of biomass power plants, caustic soda plants, and upper layer solutions, and the opportunities of deepening collaboration between SUPCON and ICL into a new era.

The ICL management showed great interest in SUPCON plastic-lined regulating valves and ball valves which have a wide range of applications in caustic soda plants. The management was impressed by the fact that SUPCON has produced transmitters for more than 20 years, of which the latest CXT series can reach a standard accuracy of 0.05%. The guests also expressed demands for the gas detector and batch control solutions.

Following the meeting, both sides gained a clearer understanding of the direction for future collaboration. Moving forward, SUPCON remains committed to delivering enhanced intelligent manufacturing solutions that are highly efficient, secure, and dependable to global valued customers.
