Oct 19, 2017 Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Research & Practice Seminar was held in Hangzhou. The seminar is sponsored by China Instrument and Control Society, Zhejiang Automation Institute, Zhejiang Chemical Industry and Engineering Society, and undertaken by Zhejiang University and SUPCON. Over 200 industry experts and end users attended, and 12 experts shared their research achievements and industry insights.

4 representatives from SUPCON delivered speeches in the seminar. Professor Chu Jian, founder of SUPCON group, delivered a speech under the heading: Big Data in Cement Industry. Professor Chu explained: cement industry is well known as a high energy consumed and process solidified industry. But the application of big data analysis can break out of the box by refining the process as elaborate as adjusting 1 centigrade of the stove temperature. Thus get the process re-optimized.

Mr Yu Haibin, Chief engineer of SUPCON Technology Co., Ltd., gave a speech entitled Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions for Process Industry. Mr Jin Xiaoming, General Manger Assistant of SUPCON Software Co., Ltd., expatiated SUPCON Total Control Solution for whole production processes. Mr Hou Weifeng, General Manager of Operation Department of SUPCON Software Co., Ltd., elaborated SUPCON Energy Conservation and Efficiency Enhancement Solution.

8 other experts and executives from the key industry laboratories of top national academies and leading process industry giants delivered speeches on insightful topics ranging from theoretical study to general solutions and practical experience in intelligent manufacturing field.

The speeches have sparked heated discussion since this seminar has brought the researchers, vendors and users to an open conversation over the most concerned topics in automation, digitization and intellectualization transformation.
