Last month, SUPCON finished commissioning and passed acceptance test of DCS and all its sub-systems for the last two 12MW power generation units of Mongolia Erdenet Power plant. Meanwhile a lot of practical advice has been put forward by SUPCON engineer team, which won appreciation of both end user and its EPC.

Oct 28, the power plant, a captive power plant extended for Mongolia Erdenet Copper Mine, was successfully connected into grid. It marked the third largest power plant of Mongolia is brought into being.

Erdenet Copper Mine is a Mongolia-Russia joint venture, contributing about 10% of Mongolia GDP. The extension of the power plant will significantly reduce the power expenditure and guarantee a reliable power supply for the mine.
