SUPCON Assists in Holding “International Concentrating Solar Power PLAZA 2015” Convention

June 25 - 26, SUPCON, with National Electric Power Planning & Engineering Institute and National Solar Power Research Center, assisted “CSP (Concentrating Solar Power) PLAZA”, which is the only professional business media in China CSP industry to hold “International CSP 2015” convention in Beijing.

This convention focused on development of solar power, consisting of three parts, “environment of solar power industry”, “development scheme of solar power and case studies” and “development of solar power with assistant of professional equipment”.

During the part of “development scheme of solar power and case study”, Huang Wenjun, Vice President and Chief Engineer of Zhejiang SUPCON Solar Technology Co., Ltd., gave an essential speech of “Analyses of the Molten Salt System Transformation for SUPCON Delingha CSP Power Plant”, which detailedly  introduced the experience and technical achievements of the 10 MW Molten Salt Revamping Project in the Delingha CSP project phase I.

As an advanced technology corporation, SUPCON has already achieved independant advanced tower-type molten salt technology. The speech given by Huang not only raised the interest and attention of the public, but also encouraged the whole industry, leading domestic automatic CSP industry to bright future.

This convention has attracted more than 370 overseas and domestic elites of solar power industry coming from German National Space Administration, Spanish Aries Corporation and China Guodian Corporation to probe into the development of CSP.

The leaders and experts from national administrations and institutions, including National Energy Administration, China Renewable Energy Industry Association, National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation, National Development and Reform Commission and China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute, etc., attended this convention and introduced the development planning of China’s CSP industry.
