Kickoff Meeting of Mingshui Chemical MTA Project Successfully Held

SUPCON Service to Ensure Long-Term Stable Operation for Users’ Plant

SUPCON Held Coordination Meeting for SINOPEC SCADA System Project

April 19, the kickoff meeting of Mingshui Chemical MTA (phase I) 600,000t/a methanol total plant solution DCS project was successfully held in the headquarters of JAMG Mingshui Chemical Group (here after “Mingshui Chemical”). Mingshui Chemical is a subsidiary of JAMG (Jincheng Anthracite Mining Group, ranking No. 379 in the Fortune 500 in the year 2015). 19 representatives, from the end user, 3 consultant units, and SUPCON participated to clarify the project implementation.

According to the framework technology agreement signed in February this year, SUPCON will provide control solutions for the units, incl. 3×1,200t/h dry pulverized coal gasifier, isothermal transformation, rectisol purification, claus sulfur recovery and casale methanol synthesis, ‘3+1’ tower methanol rectification, 4×220t/h CFBB, 2 steam turbines, and utility devices e.g. chemical water, reclaimed water, sewage, etc., with totally 21,000 I/O points.

Mingshui Chemical has attached great importance to this project, because the technology used in this project is Dalian Jinzhou Heavy Machinery Company’s latest new dry pulverized coal gasification technology - for its first industrial application. Also, this project is the company’s first new coal chemical MAV project after its enterprise transformation.
