Sep 10, SUPCON won the order of engineering comprehensive monitoring system EPC project for Wuhan Metro Line 6 (Phase I) to provide security prevention service for this large rail transit.

Wuhan Metro Line 6 is so far the largest metro line in the urban rail network of Wuhan city. Its total investment reaches to $4 billion USD. The difficulties of this project, for instance, crossing the Han River (the largest branch of the Yangtze River), avoiding multiple heritage buildings and big altitude difference among some stations, all require technically reliable and trustworthy companies for construction.

Under the terms of the contract, SUPCON is primarily responsible for the purchasing, deployment, installation, debugging and maintenance of the integrated monitoring and controlling system (ISCS), environmental monitoring system (EMS), fire alarm system (FAS), etc. SUPCON MetroView ISCS will be applied in this project.

MetroView is SUPCON’s self developed large-scale comprehensive monitoring system software for rail transit that can be used cross platforms and in mixed platforms, and applicable to metro, light railway, urban railway, and transportation junction, etc.

The software is supported by Electronic Development Fund of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology P.R.C. Based on layered distribution, high reliability, and high security, its design ideas, system architecture, features of system real-time and overall capacity are superior to the current industrial application software.
