SUPCON Made its Debut at the FIW 2023 in Japan

September 13th to 15th, The Factory Innovation Week 2023 (FIW) was successfully held at Makuhari Messe in Japan. As Japan’s leading future factory technologies exhibition, the event features three main sections, that is Smart Factory Expo - manufacturing DX technology/solution, RoboDEX - robotics & automation technology, and Green Factory Expo - green factory technology/solution. Over 240 exhibitors and 21,000 visitors were gathered at the event to exchange ideas, seek collaboration, and promote technological innovation advancements in the future factory vision.


SUPCON showcased the latest products and solutions under the newly introduced Business Automation(BA) + Process Automation(PA) Smart Enterprise Architecture, including the Intelligent Operation Management and Control System (OMC), the Advanced Process Engineering eXpert (APEX), as well as the smart hardware such as pressure transmitters, safety barriers, and intelligent inspection instruments. Additionally, SUPCON presented collaborative solutions with its ecosystem partners, including the gas leak detection devices, autonomous mobile robots (AMR) for material handling and energy storage management system. Besides, SUPCON intelligent inspection and smart logistics solutions emerged as another spotlight, garnering substantial interest. Experts from diverse manufacturing sectors, including Toshiba, Hitachi, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Sumitomo Chemical, Suntory, Kansai Electric Power, JFE Steel were drawn to the booth and actively engaged in discussions. 


Through vivid demonstrations, detailed explanations, and compelling case studies, SUPCON highlighted its expertise in empowering future plants with Process Automation (PA) and Business Automation (BA) solutions. The extensive interactions with industry experts further broadened the team’s horizons in products & solutions development and applications in the field of intelligent future factories in Japan.


Earlier in this summer, SUPCON established a subsidiary in Japan, aiming to further advance its overseas business development. SUPCON has been actively embracing the wave of globalization and continuously exploring growth opportunities in digitalization.
