July, SUPCON won SCADA contract of China Communications Construction Company Ltd. Kipevu oil terminal relocation project in Mombasa, Kenya.
SUPCON will supply SIS, SCADA System, RTU System for the monitoring & control of KOT CCR, 4 berths, KPC & KPRL tank farm, onshore Beach Valve Stand (BVS) and Common User Manifold (CUM). The total I/O point of the project is nearly 4,000.
Upon completion, the Kipevu terminal will be able to dock four 100,000-ton tankers at the same time and six loading & uploading pipelines for crude oil, heavy fuel oil, dual purpose kerosene, premium motor spirit, automotive gas oil and liquefied petroleum gas.
