World’s Top Coal-to-Olefins Unit Starts Operation

SUPCON Showcased Its Latest Products in MICONEX 2016

SUPCON to Build Smart Pharmaceutical Benchmark Project

The methanol unit of world’s top coal-to-olefins project – Zhongtian Hechuang Ordos coal deep processing demonstration project started running, and successfully produced qualified methanol products at 2:30 AM, Sep. 24.

SUPCON as the MAV (Main Automation Vendor) of the project, provided its life-cycle service from FEED, engineering design, engineering services, maintenance, optimization and upgrade in an all-sided way.

The project reaches 170 thousand I/O points and has integrated industrial control network requiring 48 subnets. As world’s top Coal-to-Olefins project, it creates a bunch of world records, including the world’s largest CCR (2,200sqm), the world’s largest scale of production: methanol (2×1.8Mt/a) and the 1.37Mt/a polyolefin production project.
