SUPCON Wins Vietnam’s First Intelligent Underground Utility Corridor Contract

Jan 10, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) Daxie Petrochemical Company completed the acceptance test of SUPCON Advanced Process Control solution (APC) adopted in the Continuous Catalytic Reforming (CCR) unit.

The project has realized advanced control of multiple key units including pre-hydrogenation unit, catalytic reforming reactor, catalytic reforming fractionation unit, catalyst regeneration unit, and dimethylbenzene fractionation unit, etc.

After the successful application of the solution, the general energy consumption has been proved to drop by 3.05%. According to the user's comparative analysis and assessment, the reforming reactor cut 2.3kg oil consumption per ton output, and the dimethylbenzene fractionation unit cut that from 39.9kg to 38.2kg. In addition, the stability of main technical parameters was improved by 30%. The main product index standard deviation decreased by more than 20%.
