SUPCON SOLAR Signs EPC Framework Contract of Greece Minos 50MW Tower CSP Project

Recently, SUPCON successfully signed the DCS project for 9.95MW Rice Husk Fired Power Plant with MAJUNAKA ECO ENERGY SDN BHD. In the project, SUPCON will provide Webfield ECS-700 DCS and technical supports.

The power plant is currently under construction and is expected to be operational by 2020. It will be the first major power plant in mainland Kedah. Upon completion, it will improve the power supply situation in Naka and Kedah significantly.

The technology not only provides electricity and also serves as a way to dispose of agricultural waste. In addition, the byproduct, steam, can be used for paddy drying applications, thereby increasing local incomes, meanwhile reducing waste volume and consumption of fossil fuels.
