Yanchang Petroluem 1.4 Billion Nm3/a Natural Gas Field Development Project

Project Overview

The project is co-developed by Yanchang Petroleum Group and Schlumberger Limited, who made the total solution of the gas exploitation scheme and construction design. As the technical administration, Schlumberger brought a strict requirement of the automation vendor on various aspects such as product quality guarantee, service strength, project integration capability, and ecological consciousness, etc.

With abundant experience and strong capability in the industry automation, digitization, informatization and intellectualization, SUPCON had won the trust and ratification of not only Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group and Schlumbergerall Limited, but also all the relevant parties like the EPC and design institute.

SUPCON Solution

The control center will apply SUPCON SCADA system to integrate the supervisory control and data acquisition of the whole upstream chain from natural gas well RTU, gas gathering station control system, to gas-processing plant control system and pipeline origin station control system, ensuring a timely data collection and transmission to the gas-processing plant control center, where the gas gathering and transportation is monitored and gas processing is controlled. To realize both centralized management and distributed control of the whole plant, DCS and ESD system are facilitated. So that the whole process goes in a reliable, secured and smooth operation, meanwhile process parameters are collected and record, potential dangers are detected and alarmed.
