Project Overview
April 21, 2020, the " Research Project on Intelligent Production of Calcination Light Ash Procedure " of Tangshan Sanyou Chemical Co., Ltd. undertaken by Zhejiang SUPCON successfully passed the acceptance of the project team.

The implementation scope of "Research Project on Intelligent Production of Calcination Light Ash Procedure" includes 6 steam rotary calciners for calcination process, 6 mother liquor towers for recovery process, 6 heat exchangers and other equipment.Due to the rigorous process, equipment and instrumentation conditions, many interference and restriction factors, and frequent load adjustment during the production process, the overall implementation of the project is very difficult.

During the implementation of the project, both sides made careful investigation and discussion on the process characteristics and control requirements of the plant, and regularly organized project coordination meeting to improve and optimize the design scheme. Several sets of advanced control systems were completed, including furnace tail pressure predictive control, furnace pressure load balance control, alkali temperature predictive control, alkali temperature intelligent expert control program, advanced control of recovery process, steam header pressure, vacuum header pressure interlock protection program, artificial intelligence intervention program, etc.
Customer Feedback
After the implementation of the project, the pre-controlled operation rate of calcination process under normal production conditions reaches 90%, and that of recovery process exceeds 98%, which greatly reduces the labor intensity of operators and greatly improves the overall automation level of the plant.The stability of key indexes in light ash workshop has been improved, such as pressure at the end of calciner, alkali temperature and temperature at the outlet of recovery heat exchanger, etc. The fluctuation range of core indexes has been narrowed by more than 25% on average.

In addition, through the optimization of alkali outlet temperature and outlet temperature of heat exchanger and edge clamping control, the overall steam and refrigerant consumption of the unit is also significantly reduced.The successful application and good application effect of this project have been unanimously approved by the leaders and front-line operators of Tangshan Sanyou.
